Athaya Fairuz Mahadita is a Junior Analyst at CPI, based in Jakarta. Her work focuses on the analysis of Indonesia’s just energy transition policies, as well as climate financing and energy efficiency projects.

Prior to joining CPI, Athaya interned at the ASEAN Centre for Energy under the ASEAN Plan of Action for Energy Cooperation (APAEC) Department. During the internship, she worked on various clean energy-focused programs involving multilateral and international agencies, while also helping develop policy briefs on energy efficiency for industrial sector in ASEAN.

Athaya holds a joint Master’s degree in Renewable Energy from the University of Malaya, Malaysia and University of Kyoto, Japan.
