Arthur Bragança serves as a Head of Policy Evaluation focusing on Sustainable Agriculture and Infrastructure at CPI Brazil, and as a lecturer at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio). At CPI, he is currently developing new approaches to evaluate the socio-environmental impacts of improvements in transportation infrastructure, examining the determinants of cattle intensification, and investigating the effects of agricultural practices on the environment. Previously, he worked on projects examining the economic and environmental consequences of the expansion of large-scale agriculture in different regions of the Cerrado and the Amazon biomes. Arthur holds a Ph.D. in Economics from PUC-Rio and a B.A. in Economics from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). During his Ph.D. studies, he spent one year as a visiting scholar at Harvard University.
