Amanda Schutze serves as the Head of Policy Evaluation focusing on Energy at CPI Brazil and as a lecturer in Economics for the Public Sector at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) since 2013. At CPI, she currently examines how Brazil can increase its energy mix to help the country achieve climate goals. Previously, she worked for El Paso Energy and Enron South America. Amanda holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Pontifícia Universidade do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), a master degree from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (EPGE/FGV-RJ) and a bachelor degree in Economics from PUC-Rio.
