The announcement is taking place at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.financeincommonsummit2025.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Finance in Common Summit<\/a> in Cape Town, South Africa, running from 26-28 February 2025.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Designed to tackle barriers in climate finance, the FiCS Lab Incubator supports PDBs in Emerging Markets and Developing Economies (EMDEs) to develop innovative solutions that help bridge the climate finance gap.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Established at COP28 through a partnership between Climate Policy Initiative (CPI), FiCS, and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the incubator supports PDB-led financial instruments aimed at overcoming challenges in climate finance. Each proposal is proof that international partnerships and local expertise can combine forces to create actionable solutions to finance barriers.
