We are unique in our focus on finance, our ability to get the right people to the table, and our analytical rigor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Position Summary\u202f<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Analyst role would&nbsp;be responsible for&nbsp;providing essential support in the planning and execution of research initiatives, capacity building activities, collaborative forums, and engagement with stakeholders. Additionally, the incumbent will be an active contributor to various ongoing projects and programs undertaken by CPI in India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the heart of this role is the opportunity to contribute to sustainable finance strategies, foster impactful policy interventions, and actively\u202fparticipate\u202fin initiatives that drive positive change at the intersection of climate action and economic development.\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ideal candidate will bring prior experience related to climate policy, finance, or regulation. Furthermore, a demonstrated focus on specific issues such as social and governance will be hugely valuable in this role.\u202f\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Primary Duties &amp; Responsibilities\u202f<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Includes the following and others as assigned:\u202f\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Conduct research and analysis on topics related to sustainable finance, including policy and regulation, market practices, reporting and disclosure, taxonomy, and innovative financial mechanisms.\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analyze&nbsp;interactions between public and private actors and resources in the context of sustainable finance.\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Co-author, review, and contribute to the development of long research reports, issue briefs, and blogs.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate internal and external meetings, workshops, conferences, and other dissemination activities.\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Engage with clients, policymakers, and investors to provide advice on the implications of research findings.\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Represent CPI&nbsp;and present research findings at high-level events and conferences.\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Establish and&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;excellent relationships with key stakeholders, existing clients, and potential partners in the field of sustainable finance.\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u202fQualifications &amp; Experience\u202f<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Post Graduate degree in Finance\/Economics\/Engineering \/Management\/CFA and demonstrable (minimum of 2 yrs and&nbsp;upto&nbsp;5&nbsp;yrs) post-qualification experience in the field.\u202f\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Professional experience in financial services\/&nbsp;management consulting\/advisory\/research, international non-profit, government, and\/or a multi-lateral institution.\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Independent, analytical mind with an excellent&nbsp;track record&nbsp;of applying sound financial judgment to complex issues.\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Flexibility, professionalism, enthusiasm for working as part of a team, and ability to interact with diverse people.\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including fluency in English\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u202fDesirable\u202f<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Understanding of climate finance and the financial sector actors and actions that are crucial to driving a low carbon, climate-resilient economy and building back better\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exposure\/Experience working with the Government, Financial Regulators, domestic and international philanthropy, and DFIs.\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Competencies &amp; Personal Attributes<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You are\u202fa team player\u202fand a\u202fself-starter,\u202fand\u202fcan survive and thrive\u202fwith\u202fminimal\u202fguidance.\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You have an independent, analytical mind with\u202fa track record\u202fof applying sound strategic judgment to complex issues.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You&nbsp;are able\u202fto&nbsp;interact with high-level external stakeholders independently.\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You have strong quantitative, data management, data analysis, critical thinking,\u202fand team management\u202fskills.\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You have exceptional\u202fattention to detail, organization, time management, and prioritization skills, and an ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You are an advanced user of\u202fthe<br>MS Office suite, in particular&nbsp;Excel,\u202fand\u202fcan&nbsp;learn and adapt to new systems.\u202f\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You have outstanding written and verbal communication skills,\u202fincluding fluency in English.\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You are willing to travel\u202finternationally\/domestically.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Location and compensation\u202f<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CPI is hiring for one permanent, full-time Analyst position based&nbsp;in Delhi\/NCR.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CPI offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.
