CPI experts will participate in the following sessions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The reform of the architecture of the international financial system and the G20 agenda<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em>10:00 &#8211; 11:30am BRT <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The past two years have seen major contributions to the international finance architecture reform agenda discussions (including <a href=\"https:\/\/icrier.org\/g20-ieg\/report.html\">The Triple Agenda<\/a> (the G20-IEG), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lse.ac.uk\/granthaminstitute\/publication\/finance-for-climate-action-scaling-up-investment-for-climate-and-development\/\">Finance for Climate Action<\/a> (the \u201cSongwe-Stern report\u201d), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.climatepolicyinitiative.org\/publication\/an-innovative-ifi-operating-model-for-the-21st-century\/\">An Innovative IFI Operating Model for the 21st Century,<\/a> the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foreign.gov.bb\/the-2022-barbados-agenda\/\">Bridgetown Initiative<\/a>). Each of these offer policy prescriptions that address multiple, systemic issues, including the scarcity and high cost of capital flowing to developing countries, increasing climate risks, and sovereign debt crises.
