Based on extensive primary data collection, the analysis accounts for USD 120 billion cumulative green bond issuance in China from 2016 to 2019, with rapid expansion over the last few years. The research shows that green bond proceeds are largely going to environmentally-relevant projects in China, but with varying degrees of disclosure at the project level. There is a lack of diversity in both issuers and investors, and market segmentation created by different authorities and regulatory frameworks impacts the efficiency and potential of the market.<\/p>\n<p>During this webinar, we will review the research findings and discuss specific recommendations for ways to diversify the investor and issuer base, strengthen MRV, and create clearer guidelines and incentives for green bonds to support China\u2019s economic goals.<\/p>\n<p>Webinar 1 will be in English.
