Ubaldo Elizondo is a Senior Manager at CPI’s Washington DC office, where his work focuses on adaptation, cities, and public and blended finance. He comes with over 16 years of experience in development finance, particularly in the Latin American and Caribbean regions. He has also worked in the field of carbon markets, green bonds, and blended finance.
Prior to CPI, Ubaldo was the climate change coordinator at CAF – the development bank of Latin America and also worked as a co-lead of the climate change working group at the International Development Financial Club (IDFC).
Ubaldo has a Master’s degree in Renewable Energies from the University of Zaragoza in Spain, and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Monterrey Tech in Mexico.
