Nelson Suero is the Grants Finance Manager at CPI, based in Washington DC. His responsibilities include assisting the Chief Financial Officer and program staff in ensuring sound and compliant financial practices across CPI’s diversity of donors.

Nelson has seven years of rich work experience in finance and accounting. For the last four years, he has been working in the nonprofit finance and grants management sector. Prior to CPI, Nelson worked at Horton’s Kids as the Senior Finance and Administrative Manager where he supervised all restricted grants working closely with program, development and the accounting staff in budgeting, reporting internal controls, and donor compliance.

Nelson holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra, Santiago, Dominican Republic with a major in Financial Management.
