Hélène Van Caenegem is an analyst based in CPI’s London office. At CPI, she works on GNIplus, which focuses on implementing Kenya’s Nationally Determined Contributions in partnership with the Kenyan government. In addition, she helps to develop instruments from the Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance, focusing on smart agriculture in West and Central Africa.
Prior to CPI, Hélène did an internship with Trucost, part of S&P Global, where she was working on the development and implementation of a water risk assessment framework and portfolio carbon footprint assessments. Furthermore, she has experience working at a start-up in rural Senegal, which specialized in the distribution of renewable off-grid energy solutions. She holds two Master’s degrees, one in Climate Change, Management and Finance from Imperial College Business School and another in Business and Information System Engineering from KULeuven.
