Eyerusalem Masale is a Program Associate for the Cities Climate Finance Leadership Alliance (the Alliance), based in CPI’s London office. The Alliance is dedicated to deploy climate finance for city level climate action at scale by 2030. In the field of urban and subnational climate finance, the Alliance is a platform for advocacy, cooperation and partnership for national governments, city networks, DFIs and private investors, among others.

Previously, Eyerusalem has worked as a Technical Planner at Enviria Energy, a start-up for Photovoltaic Systems in Germany, where she designed operational concept plans for customized solar energy projects with cooling, heating and storage systems and provided revenue models. She also did an internship at EPN Hessen, a development and politics association in Germany, that is dedicated to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.

Eyerusalem holds a Master’s degree in International Development Management from the University of Westminster, where she completed a dissertation focused on barriers for social enterprises within solar energy electrification processes in Sub-Saharan Africa. In addition, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the Goethe University, where she specialized in conflict management and peacekeeping missions.
