Ada Kinczyk is a Consultant with CPI’s Energy Finance team in London. Before joining CPI, Ada worked as a Consultant at Europe Economics, where she gained experience in cost-benefit analyses, impact assessments, evaluations, competition assessments and economic regulation across a number of sectors, including utilities, transport, financial services, emission trading and healthcare.

Ada holds a diploma in economics from the University of Cambridge, and a MSc in economics from London School of Economics and Political Science, which she completed with distinction. During the MSc programme Ada pursued a speciality in corporate finance.

A graduate of Jagiellonian University in Cracow, Poland, Ada simultaneously obtained two master’s degrees in philosophy and sociology. The dissertation in sociology involved taking Cracow as an example for the analysis of key factors that attract global companies to invest particular cities. Her thesis in philosophy marked a culmination of Ada’s long-standing interest in formal logic and philosophy of physics.

Ada joined CPI to work on the Energy Finance team’s risk programme, initially focusing on identifying and measuring global sustainability risks.
